Medicare and Medi-Cal Accepted

We accept Medicare and Medi-Cal, including patients who have both. We verify the patient’s coverage before anything is scheduled, and there’s no cost to find out.

What we accept

  • Medicare
  • Medi-Cal
  • Medicare and Medi-Cal together (dual eligible)

Medicare Advantage and Medi-Cal managed care plans

If the patient’s Medicare or Medi-Cal comes through a plan — a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medi-Cal managed care plan — tell us the plan name when we call. Coverage under these plans varies from plan to plan, so we verify the patient’s specific plan first.

Private or employer insurance

At this time we accept Medicare and Medi-Cal only. If you’re not sure which the patient has, call us and we’ll help you check.

Patients in a skilled nursing facility

For patients in a skilled nursing facility, wound care is usually covered by the facility under Medicare Part A, so we often can’t bill separately. You’re still welcome to call us — we’re happy to talk it through and point you in the right direction.

We check before any visit

Coverage depends on the patient's individual plan and clinical situation, and each patient is reviewed individually. We do not guarantee coverage or payment. Our team will confirm what the patient's plan covers, and what any remaining cost would be, before a visit is scheduled.

Not sure what coverage the patient has? Call us at (949) 424-5126 and we’ll check.
